TURMERIC SOLAR PRINTS
Two hours of sunshine, turmeric, creativity and good company.
This is not really about becoming an artist. It’s simply an excuse to put your phone away, do something with your hands and spend a couple of hours with nice people.
In this hands-on workshop, we’ll use turmeric and sunlight to create beautiful natural solar prints — turning simple leaves, flowers and found shapes into unique patterns on paper.
The process is surprisingly simple, a little bit magical and very satisfying to watch as the sunlight does its thing.
Come to make something, meet people, experiment, or treat the two hours as a kind of active meditation. There’s no experience needed and definitely no pressure to produce a masterpiece. In fact, we quite like the wonky ones.
